Emmy Award Winning Director and Cinematographer, Marc Bloomgarden brings a unique visual style to every project. Whether he is riding with U2's Bono and Edge on their private jet, Backstage with the Rolling Stones at MSG or shooting with the world's top Fashion Models, Marc consistently delivers the right imagery for your project. With over 12 years in production, his directorial credits include commercials, music videos, promotional spots, live concerts and fashion projects. Marc has gained a reputation for his lighting as well as his laid back attitude, and thrives on the challenge of bringing an innovative look to any situation.
Marc has recently Directed the national "Smart Call" campaign for the IDT phone company, Teases for Monday Night Football, a concert video for Rob Thomas, a music video based commercial with the band Velvet Revolver, and several spots for the New York Rangers Hockey Team. He is proud to have been the Director of Photography on nine of the "Truth" campaign's anti-smoking spots, including the highly acclaimed "Body Bag" spot, in which 16 cameras were utilized. He has DP'd spots for Target, Sony Playstation, and Holiday Inn Express.
Drawing from a background that includes photography and directing theater, Marc's ability to combine creative and technical elements has been a proven formula for success.
Marc has a wide array of experience working with both Film and High Definition Video. He is proficient in 35mm film, 16mm film, and High Definition Video as well as Medium Format, 35mm and Digital Photography.
